Grade 1120 is an asbestos-free fiberglass-reinforced thermoset resin sheet. It is UL classified with flame spreads of 15 (U.S. calculation) and 20 (Canadian calculation).

This material has very low water absorption characteristics and also has good splash and spill resistance to acids, weak bases and aliphatic hydrocarbons.

Panels can be manufactured in sizes of 36'' x 72'' and 49.5'' x 96.5''. Sheet thickness ranges from 1/16'' to 1/2''. Call for current availability.

A 2" square test specimen is prepared for each reagent to be tested. Approximately 25 ml. of each reagent is measured into a small beaker. A test panel is placed over the top of each beaker. After 24 hours of exposure, the panels are removed, cleaned and evaluated.

Rating:

1 = No Effect
No detectable change in color or gloss.

2 = Excellent
Slight detectable change in color or gloss.

3 = Good
A clearly observable change in appearance.

4 = Fair
Objectionable change in appearance.

5 = Failure
Pitting, cratering or erosion of surface.
